These French Oak Sleepers are untreated and ‘green’ (meaning they have been freshly cut in the last 6 months).

New oak railway sleepers are normally square edged on one face, with some rounded edges on the opposite face, where the oak has been cut from the outside of the tree.

The oak may also have splits, knots & blemishes and will silver with age.
